The time of year is coming where we dig through our closets and pull out our warmest, fluffiest sweaters, best plaid scarves and our fashionable tall boots and walk around with a Pumpkin Spice Latte to help keep us cozy and comfortable as the season begins to transition into fall. For now, our weather seems to want to stay the warmest it has been all summer but as we all know, that will quickly fade into the abyss as the leaves begin to change and the cool autumn nights creep in. Just the thought of it makes me want to cozy up on the couch with a good book and a hot apple cider while the faint smells of the latest fall scent burns in the background! Do you know the feeling? That’s what we like to call nesting…where we say goodbye to the BBQ, patio furniture and gardens, and settle in for a few months as we roll through another season.
With the colder weather comes the yearning for those longer sun filled days to return again. Surrounding yourself with bright, lush greenery can help get you through the long winter to spring. Greenery also helps bring a room together, by being the focal point or the perfect accent piece. Those perfectly placed pieces can also be changed around to match every season as well, and then you don’t have to worry about getting bored with one single arrangement. Oh the versatility! Prep your space and enjoy the long days inside, and #greenup for fall and winter!
